This is where the real craftsmen go for supplies. Don’t waste your time with the big box stores, you will be way better off at Mead Clark.

The big box stores have a larger selection but the people here have far more knowledge and provide better customer service. This is the type of place where a DIY-er could feel intimidated but I have always felt comfortable asking questions both inside and in the yard.The lumber quality is superior to what I find in the big box stores. It is rare that I find damaged goods and I never feel the need to sort through an entire pile to find the two sticks that aren't twisted or warped.When I need lumber, I usually start my search here and then reluctantly go elsewhere if they don't carry what I need.

Granted pricier but way better service and it's local. Not like home depot or Lowe's.

Best lumber yard I've ever been to. And I've been to all of them in sonoma county, a few in Marin and quite a few in the southeast. I've been coming here ever since I got out of high school and will always be loyal to Mead Clark. I consider many people who work here my friend. God bless
